Caliche Development Partners II

Caliche Development Partners II (“Caliche II”) is a Houston, Texas-based company focused on the acquisition, development, construction, ownership, and operation of subsurface natural gas and industrial gas, storage assets, as well as carbon sequestration in North America. Caliche II owns and operates the Golden Triangle Storage, Inc. (“GTS”) facility and is expected to finalize the acquisition of Central Valley Gas Storage, LLC (“CVGS”) facility in the second half of 2023, subject to state regulatory approvals. GTS and CVGS are located in Jefferson County, Texas and Colusa County, California, respectively.  These businesses target two regions that OIC expects will experience increasing demand for storage to support variable power loads, natural gas liquefaction, and high penetrations of renewable resources.  The Caliche II management team previously partnered with OIC when they developed and sold the Coastal Caverns site on the historic Spindletop salt dome.
